Congratulations to the winners of the Waterpik® Poster Competition
Waterpik® was the proud sponsor of the annual Poster Competition at the Oral Health Conference & Exhibition (OHC 2018) in Telford last month.
The outstanding display of posters was a testament to the wealth of knowledge and commitment that dental hygienists and dental therapists have to offer the profession. After some difficult deliberation, the panel of judges announced the winners as follows:
Anna Walker and Karen Walker from The Campbell Clinic, Nottingham for the poster entitled: “SMART targets and oral hygiene: A retrospective analysis of a hygienist-led implant maintenance programme.”
Rhiannon Jones, Clinical Lecturer in Dental Hygiene and Therapy at Cardiff University for her poster entitled: “Evaluation of the ‘flipped classroom’ method for the teaching of pre-clinical periodontology clinical skills.”
Abigail Turner from the University of Leeds for her poster entitled: “Salivary Diagnostics for Periodontal Disease: Novelty or Necessity?”
Waterpik® would like to congratulate all the worthy winners.
